Together with Pels Riicken and the International Human Rights Clinic at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, the Foley Hoag United Nations Practice Group’s presented a lecture on on “Implementing the Duty to Prevent Genocide under International Law” on December 5, 2022 at the Pels Rijcken offices in The Hague.
This lecture was a critical conversation on the duty to prevent genocide with Dr. Alain Germeaux, Ministry of Foreign and Legal Affairs, Luxembourg, UN Special Adviser on Prevention of Genocide Alice Wairimu Nderitu, Ambassador Todd Buchwald, ECtHR Judge Mykola Gnatovskyy and Oxford University Deputy Director Federica D’Alessandra on the occasion of the International Criminal Court’s 21st Assembly of States Parties meeting.
