USC Gould School of Law’s International Human Rights Clinic together with the International Law & Relations Organization and the International Refugee Assistance Project held an event on Oct. 3rd featuring Democracy Defender Sunny Cheung who played a key role as an opposition leader in the Hong Kong protests. He is now in exile in the US and, as Advisor of the Hong Kong Democracy Council, has testified before governments and institutions in the US, UK, EU, Australia and Taiwan calling for democracy and human rights in Hong Kong.
